Support Centre for Open Resources in Education website

SCORE is a HEFCE-funded project (2009-2012) supporting individuals, projects, institutions and programmes within higher education in England who are engaged in creating, sharing and using open educational resources (OER). As well as publishing its own OER content, SCORE has a fellowship scheme, offers support and advice, mentors UK OER projects, offers events and online community support.

OER Teaching Fellowships funded by Hefce for Universities in England

The Support Centre for Open Resources in Education (SCORE) is a national centre, based at the OU from 2009-2012 and funded by Hefce in recognition of OU leadership in open educational resources (see OpenLearn and this website for examples of on-going work with OERs).

Part of the Hefce grant will fund development of a community of fellows, working with the OU on developing OER policy and practice across English HEIs. Over three years at least 36 fellows (up to one third of these working at the OU, the rest from other HEIs) will work with the SCORE team. Guidance on the fellowship scheme is attached below.
