AUTH will be the lead partner of the openEd technical (support) framework (WP4) and provide  programming and design services for the open course environment as identified by the partnership. AUTH will further provide  technical learner support throughout the 3 consecutive pilots. The work of AUTH will include (A) the initial definition (RSD) and implementation of the technological framework and (B) the amendment of the course environments during the 3 consecutive pilot rounds in accordance to e.g. identified learners needs and requirements, and ultimately (C) provision of user support.
AUTH will also lead WP7, closely together with the OU, bringing in its experiences from the SE education where their students engage within real world open source projects.
