Programme of the Day
Aims:
- To give practical advice on the Creative Commons Licence(s) drawing on real examples and scenarios that explain what the terms and icons mean.
- Unpacking some of the anxieties and issues.
- Looking not only at the legal aspects but also the moral issues connected with Intellectual Property Rights
10:00 – 10:30 Welcome, coffee & refreshments, registration.
10:30 – 11:30 Introduction and practical activities.
11:30 – 12:30 Intellectual Property Rights/Copyright/Creative Commons
Why is it important?
12:30 – 13:30 Lunch and continued discussions
13:30 – 15.00 Scenarios and breakout session
‘Real examples to test out your understanding’
15:00 – 15:15 Feedback session. Tea and coffee.
15:15 – 16:00 Summary
There is no charge for the workshop. Participants are asked to make their own travel arrangements.
